Cardinal is our largest bedroom. It is dominated by a magnificent fireplace which we believe is original. The room is decorated in warm shades of beige and Cardinal red. There is a super-king size bed, comfortable antique chairs and sofa and a dining area. The large ensuite bathroom has a jacuzzi bath. From the window there are wonderful far reaching views over the countryside towards the Pyrenees.

Chagall is on the second floor. It is a large room with a double bed and a single bed. It is decorated in red and yellow which really complements the polished wooden floors and original oak beams. It has an attractive ensuite bathroom. The views from Chagall are breathtaking.

Chopin is a very pretty twin-bedded room decorated in soft shades of yellow and green. It has a stone fireplace with beautiful ornate plaster panel above. The ceiling is beamed and the floor is polished wood. There is a pretty ensuite bathroom where part of the original construction of the wattle and daube interior wall is revealed behind glass .Outside the window the wonderful views are complemented by the presence of a beautiful magnolia tree

Chant Clair is my favourite bedroom. Like all the rooms it has a high ceiling but in Chant Clair this has been plastered and the wooden fireplace has a beautifully decorated plaster panel above it reaching to the ceiling. The room is painted in a wonderful restful blue/green which is very French. There is a fifteenth century loo set into a niche in the wall, however there is also a large ensuite bathroom for modern day living. The antique pine sleigh bed is large and very comfortable and there are two upholstered wing chairs in which you can sit and enoy the wonderful views over the countryside.

Claude and Camille is our self-contained apartment. The bedroom is decorated in blue and cream and has a large double bed and imposing armoire. Pass through this room to a short hall off which there is a cloakroom with toilet and washbasin and an eighteenth century loo set in the wall. There is also a washing machine. On the other side of the hall is a pretty bathroom. At the end of the hall is the charming sitting room with a sofa which converts into a double bed if needed. This room is double aspect with a stone fireplace and views to the chateau. Off the sitting room is a newly refurbished kitchen. It is very small but boasts an oven with ceramic hob, a refridgerator and a small dishwasher. It is fully equipped for simple dining. The Apartment may be rented weekly as a separate independant unit as it has its own private entrance or it may be rented nightly on a bed and breakfast basis, like the other rooms.
